Business Objective

Franklin & Sons was founded in 1886. It built a reputation for high quality tonics, mixers and soft drinks. Global Brands bought the Franklin & Sons brand and decided to re-energise it. The video captures the brand relaunch in London, positioning it as a brand relevant to a younger and more diverse customer base.

Challenges

Discretion was essential throughout the filming and editing process.The launch was a live event with no staging. The Snow Elk team had to remain unobtrusive but, at the same time, capture the vibrancy and energy of the launch.The ability of Snow Elk’s equipment to operate effectively at low light levels was essential.

Delivery

The client received a portfolio of video choices from the filming. An overview video captured the event in the round, with shorter ‘bite-sized’ videos provided for social media coverage. Snow Elk also captured several cocktail preparation videos.Snow Elk had previously worked on other videos for the Global Brands portfolio of distinctive drinks brands and worked closely with the events team at the London location to ensure the finished product met the brief.
