MyPlace is a network of 60 hubs serving the needs of young people in disadvantaged communities.Each MyPlace hub is different, designed to respond to the needs of the community in which it is located.

Each MyPlace hub is different, designed to respond to the needs of the community in which it is located. The common theme is the quality of design and construction. MyPlace wanted the quality of its video on its newly created website to match that of its buildings and the services it provides.

Many hubs had created their own video content. Consequently, MyPlace was struggling to promote the network due to the inconsistent quality and style of the videos. MyPlace hubs are located across the country. Time and budget meant it was impossible to capture new footage on each site.

Snow Elk advised against trying to collate multiple hub videos due to the variation in styles, content and quality. Snow Elk helped allay budgetary concerns by working at its discounted charity rates. Four locations were chosen to portray the diversity of the MyPlace network. Snow Elk also incorporated existing footage from the FairPlay video (see FairPlay video here) to further reduce time and cost.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you on behalf of the myplace network for the film that you have produced for our website. We set you the almost impossible task of putting a film together that represented the enormous amount of work that the network does with young people across the country.

This task involved you filming in many locations around Derbyshire and Yorkshire in order to represent the diversity of the many different myplace projects.

I know this wasn’t easy and that great patience was needed throughout the process.

The end result is fabulous and everyone is really pleased with the finished product.
